Due to a fire next to the track between Chester (CTR) and Llandudno Junction (LLJ):
Services will be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in both directions between Chester (CTR) and Llandudno Junction (LLJ).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 19:00 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
A large fire has been reported next to the track between Prestatyn and Flint. Emergency services are on site and attempting to deal with the fire.
For safety, train services will run at greatly reduced speed through the area. Delays of around 60 minutes to be expected. Trains may also be required to terminate before their booked destination.

We have limited road transport running between Chester and Llandudno Junction / Holyhead, provided by Keanes and Llew Jones, to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost until 23:00.
Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
