TaithCymru is a new coach service designed to make journeys across Wales easier. Whether you’re planning a short break, heading home from university, visiting friends and family, or exploring places like Bangor, Aberystwyth, Aberaeron or Carmarthen, it offers a more direct and comfortable way to travel.

 

Where does TaithCymru go?

Running between key towns, rail stations and onward public transport connections, TaithCymru is designed to make longer journeys across Wales easier to plan, more comfortable and more convenient, with journey times expected to be up to an hour faster than alternative public transport options.

Why is the service being introduced?

The service is being introduced to improve long-distance public transport connectivity between north and south west Wales. Current public transport journeys along this corridor can be lengthy and complex, so TaithCymru has been developed to provide a more direct and practical option.

Will TaithCymru connect with rail and local bus services?

Yes. The service is being developed as part of the wider public transport network, with planned connections to rail, local bus, TrawsCymru services.

How much will tickets cost?

Fares are not confirmed yet. Ticket information will be shared before launch.

Will there be accessible travel information?

Yes. Accessibility information will be provided before launch so customers can plan their journey with confidence.
