When it comes to food and travelling by train, our memories aren’t always so positive - often it’s a weak cup of tea or dry sandwich.

We’re thinking again about food and drink on our trains. We’re not just talking about something to keep you going on your journey. We’re talking about delicious, high-quality food and drink sourced sustainably, with care, from talented local suppliers.

Whether it’s your journey home from work or that long-planned weekend away, our new onboard food and drink service is there to improve your journey.

Perhaps you fancy something tasty from the trolley when you’re peckish on a local journey. Travelling long-distance? Our food bar has great-value meal deals, lighter bites and yummy treats. Our First Class dining service includes classic dishes served with warmth and charm.

We call it blas, which means ‘taste’ in Welsh. Our new food and drink brand is all about bringing you an authentic taste of some of the best food and drink Wales has to offer. All while taking in its stunning landscapes from the comfort of your seat on our long-distance services.

We’ve revamped our menus with some truly distinctive new flavours which we hope you’ll come to know and love. We have some great seasonal twists, healthier alternatives and, perhaps, some you might not expect such as our vegan and vegetarian options.

We’ve recruited a team of expert chefs who’re constantly innovating to bring you something different every month, keeping our menus as fresh as the food we serve. Just imagine the skill it takes to cook delicious, freshly prepared meals on a train.
