We’ve been reimagining the way we deliver our on-board food and drink service. We’ve transformed our menus to provide you with high-quality, tasty food and lots of locally sourced options. We want to delight you with some truly memorable tastes you’ll want to experience again and again.

Our ‘magnificent menu’ competition saw students team up with our own chefs to create an innovative new starter, main course and dessert.

Back in May we invited catering students from Cardiff and Vale College to help us reinvigorate the dishes we offer.

Each of our chefs teamed up with a student for the competition. They donned their white hats and put their skills to the test to come up with the winning dish. This was our very own ‘Great Welsh Menu’.

There were plenty of mouth-watering ideas and it was a difficult decision for the judges.

We’re pleased to say the winners will be available for you to enjoy as our signature dishes, available on our First Class menu.

For starters, say hello to Welsh mussels with bacon, leeks and cockles cooked in a white wine cream and garlic sauce. For mains, savour the taste of tender Welsh lamb rump seared and basted in rosemary garlic butter. Complete the magic with a delicious lemon and poppy sponge served with a sumptuous lemon curd Chantilly cream.

Whether you’re heading off for that weekend away, celebrating a special occasion or travelling long-distance for work, our signature dishes are ready and waiting. You’ll experience some truly exciting and distinctively Welsh flavours, created by our expert chefs and some of the best up-and-coming talent in the world of catering.
