Criccieth Ramblers Cymru route

- Leaving the station take the path that crosses the tracks. Follow this path taking the option if you wish to explore the small nature reserve on either side. When the path goes uphill slightly and meets a junction follow the path to the right. This will join a road then meet the beach.
- Turn left at the sea and follow the road uphill, passing the castle on your right. (If you wish to enter the castle tickets can be bought in advance online or on site) The road will start to drop again after the castle then keeping straight head down towards the lifeboat station (established 1853) and the sea again.
- You can either walk along the seafront or on the prom until the road turns left at Dylans. Return via the green (there are toilets here) to the road by the lifeboat station. Here you can head up into the town and enjoy the shops and cafes.
- To return to the station follow the road over the railway line then take a left signposted to longstay carpark. Here again you will find public toilets. A path at the end of the carpark leads you directly back to the station.
