Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Central (CDF) and Cheltenham Spa (CNM).
We expect the incident to last until the end of the day and disruption to services is expected from 06:10 until the end of the day.
What's Happened?
Due to a shortage of trains, fewer trains are able to run between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa in both direcioins.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
We have organised buses to run between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa in both directions to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. With this road replacement transport being provided by Cymru Coaches, Ferris Coaches and Teulu.

Having lived, studied and worked in Wales for over 26 years, Heather joined TfW in July 2018. An experienced accounting professional who studied at Cardiff University, she has worked in finance for all her career.
Heather specialises in the financial management and control of portfolios of outsourced contracts and corporate functions within large corporate organisations. Before joining TfW, she held the role of Finance Director in a variety of large organisations including the IT Services Division of Capita Group Plc and UK Sales and Marketing for Compass Group UK and Ireland.
Heather sits on the senior leadership team at TfW and is responsible for financial strategy and planning, analysing the organisation’s performance and risk, overseeing its governance and finance function, as well as all audit and internal financial controls. Heather is also a director of Transport for Wales Rail Limited.
