Heading to the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury boxing match?

On Friday 11 December 2026, Cardiff's Principality Stadium will host the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury boxing match. While exact timings are yet to be confirmed, the main event may take place during the early hours of Saturday morning.

The event is expected to be extremely busy, and we're working closely with the event organisers and our partners at Network Rail, Great Western Railway, CrossCountry and the British Transport Police to help customers travel to and from Cardiff safely and smoothly.

We're currently in the final stages of confirming our event train plan and will share more information shortly, including details of additional services we’ll be running to help meet demand.

As train plans are not yet confirmed, some additional services may not currently appear in journey planners and so advance tickets may not yet be available to purchase.

We'll update this page as soon as further information is confirmed.
Please check back regularly for the latest travel information.

New to Cardiff?

The Principality Stadium is just a short walk from Cardiff Central station, as shown on the map below.

After the event, a queuing system will be in place outside Cardiff Central station. Queues will be clearly signposted by destination, and colleagues will be on hand to help direct you.

For those travelling to Cardiff, the Valleys and Vale of Glamorgan after the event, you’ll need to head to Cardiff Queen Street, not Cardiff Central.

Ebbw Vale and Maesteg services will depart from Cardiff Central.

These measures help us manage the large number of customers travelling home, keep platforms safe, and get you on your way as quickly as possible.
