Its most popular and recognisable attraction is the Llandudno Bay and North Shore. The wide, sweeping Promenade follows the curve of the bay, and allows easy access to the beach, watersports and open-air concerts. Shops selling homemade fudge, candy floss and locally caught fish and chips make this area perfect for relaxing and grabbing something to eat.
The North Shore is where you'll find the Llandudno Pier, which has a bar, cafe, amusement arcades, children's fairground rides, and various shops and kiosks. You can then ride the Great Orme Tramway from the seaside station to the summit of the Great Orme for a breathtaking panorama. While you’re there, say hello to the wild Kashmiri goats that have made the hills their home. Descended from a pair given by Queen Victoria to a member of the Llandudno gentry, they are an unusual sight - cameras at the ready!
If you fancy something a little more sedate, why not head for the Venue Cymru. Home to opera, theatre productions, live music and comedy, grab a bite to eat at the restaurant before the show.
