Due to the electricity being switched off for safety reasons between Cardiff Queen Street (CDQ) and Cardiff Bay (CDB):
Services will be cancelled in both directions between Cardiff Bay (CDB) and Cardiff Queen Street (CDQ).
We expect the incident to last until 12:00 on 14/09/2026 and disruption to services is expected from 06:00 on 14/09/2026 until 12:00 on 14/09/2026.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a problem with the overhead electric wires between Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Queen Street
For safety, services in the area are subject to disruption and will be cancelled or revised. We apologise for the disruption caused to your journey.
Customers can use local bus services between Cardiff and Cardiff Bay to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
- 6 and 8 Cardiff Bus services.
