Update: Incident due to a points failure at Carmarthen (CMN) until 20:00.

Due to a points failure at Carmarthen (CMN):

Services may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

We expect the incident to last until 20:00 and disruption to services is expected until 21:00.

We have been made aware of a points failure at Carmarthen.

For safety, train services will be running more slowly than normal through the area, with residual delays of up to 30 minutes to be expected.

Our colleagues at Network Rail Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently on site and working on repairing the affected points.

The 16:06 Cardiff Central to Milford Haven service will now be terminating at Haverfordwest. We have organised buses to run between Haverfordwest and Milford Haven to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Haverfordwest at approximately 18:55 provided by Evans Coaches.

The 19:01 Milford Haven to Cardiff Central service will now be starting at Haverfordwest. We have organised buses to run between Milford Haven and Carmarthen to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will arrive at Haverfordwest at approximately 19:01 provided by Evans Coaches.

These arrangements are in place on services until 20:30

All trains in the area of Carmarthen will be affected. Please note that other train operators may also be experiencing disruption today. You can check your journey with any operator at tfw.wales.

Please continue to travel as planned, but expect delays and cancellations on your journey.
