We’ve provided a range of services and resources to assist local authorities and Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs) in the development of successful Station Network Plans. TfW may be able to offer support across a range of activities, from project management and consultancy to technical input and design. The level and type of support will vary depending on the individual scheme requirements and resource availability, but we would encourage you to get in touch to explore how we might support your Station Network Plan project.

Examples of services we’ve provided for previous Station Network Plans include:

• Mapping and analysis of walking, wheeling, and cycling routes around stations and bus hubs
• Technical input on active travel design and integration with public transport, drawing on our knowledge of best practice from elsewhere in Wales and the UK
• Advice on stakeholder engagement and community involvement
• Support with aligning proposals to national standards and funding criteria
• Supporting your projects to contribute to the integration of all transport modes across Wales
• Data sharing and geographical information system support to inform route planning and prioritisation.
