Due to a fault with the signalling system at Cardiff Central (CDF):
Services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Services may be cancelled in the Cardiff Central East area.
We expect the incident to last until 12:00 and disruption to services is expected from 07:30 until 14:00.
What's Happened?
We have been made aware of a signalling problem at Newport.
As a result, no train services will be able to run East of Cardiff Central until the signalling system is working normally.
This will affect services on the following lines in both directions:
Cardiff Central- Ebbw Vale Town
Cardiff Central - Cheltenham Spa
Cardiff Central - Shrewsbury
Our colleagues at Network Rail/Amey Infrastructure are aware of the problem and technicians are currently en route to the affected signalling.
Please be aware other Train Operators will also be affected by this issue.
We will publish more information here, once we have received an update from the infrastructure technicians.

We have limited road transport available to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. The following services will be replaced with road transport:
