Connecting to Ruthin and Mold, Llanarmon is a fflecsi zone that allows you to explore more of rural Wales.

Travel anywhere within the Llanarmon zone and easily connect to other buses to destinations further afield. Surrounding areas of Ruthin* and Mold* have lots to offer, including picturesque walks, independent shops and restaurants, and Grade II listed buildings.

Things to do

Enjoy a day out in the historic towns of Ruthin or Mold*
Discover medieval history and legendary tales of King Arthur at Carreg Carn March Arthur.
Stock up on essentials and stop for a bite to eat at Llanarmon Community Shop, serving up baked sweet treats, pasties, coffee and more. This is a great pit stop if you’re walking along Offa’s Dyke.
This service also connects Eryrys Caravan Park and Arbennig Lodges to the local community.

*Travel between the towns of Ruthin and Mold is not available, as these stops are connection points to Llanarmon only. For travel between these two areas, please take a look at TrawsCymru T8.

Connect easily to TrawsCymru services at both Ruthin (T8 and T51) and Mold (T8), providing onward travel to major towns and regional destinations:

Chester on the T8 - wander around the City Walls, stop by at the iconic Chester Cathedral, and have lunch at Chester Market.
St Asaph on the T51 - visit Britain’s smallest cathedral, shop at Tweedmill Shopping outlet, and explore the surrounding areas for nature walks.
Denbigh on the T51 - discover medieval history at Denbigh Castle, wander around the independent shops, and treat yourself to a local pub lunch.

You can pay for your journey in advance on the fflecsi app or on the bus with contactless or cash.

Child (5 - 15) and young persons (16 - 21 with mytravelpass) -

- Tocyn Cymru (Day Ticket) - £3.00 (unlimited travel on participating bus services).
1bws tickets are also valid on this service and can be purchased from £7.50 (adult) / £5.00 (concession).
Concessionary travel card holders travel free with fflecsi.

Tap on-Tap off

Tap on, Tap off (TOTO) is a simple method that customers can use to purchase an Adult ticket.

Simply tap your contactless debit card or device on the ticket machine reader when boarding the bus.
Then tap the same card or device on the Tap off Reader as you get off the bus.
The single fare between the two points is calculated.
If you make multiple trips and the fare reaches the price cap, which is currently the price of a 1bws Day ticket, you will get charged a maximum of £7.50 no matter how much your total fares are. If you’re making multiple journeys over 7 consecutive days, the system will work out if you’re better off paying for multiple 1bws Day tickets or a 1bws Weekly ticket.
