This fflecsi zone includes the picturesque market town of Ruthin, situated in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, serving most of the town’s urban and residential areas. Several other villages and hamlets in the area are served including Bontuchel, Clawddnewydd, Clocaenog, Cyffylliog, Derwen, Graigfechan, Llanelidan, Pentrecelyn and Rhydymeudwy.

• Head into depths of Ruthin’s dark past and take a tour around Ruthin Gaol. The only purpose-built Pentonville style prison open to the public, explore its many nooks and crannies and learn about life in the Victorian prison system.
• Visit the 15th century Nantclwyd y Dre Timber Hall House with its restored walled gardens dating from Medieval times.
• Stroll around St Peter’s Square and take in all of Ruthin’s wonderful architecture, unique shops and fabulous places to eat.
